Ancient astro art toon beginings

This is so heavily unfinished i know almost not worth putting up BUT i can’t help but start this new piece purely because SO much planning is in this one and if i don’t have just a little bit of it started it will drive me mental. This whole canvas (which looks small but is actually huge) is going to be all toony/manga style. Under the ‘Ancient Alien’ theme its going to depict a variety of ‘gods’ and earthy/underworld/spaceship stuff, this red head is my ‘Venus’ (Aphrodite).

Another reason for doing this style is because throughout the years peoples descriptions of aliens are of  out of proportion bodies,large eyes, big heads etc and many Asian cartoons employ these characteristics (also Bratz dolls have this kind of look too).
So the idea is human space travelers came to earth to foster new civilization (by mixing their DNA with our primitive ancestors)- then as earth humans grew to evolve on future visits these space folk (‘gods’) hooked up with our fine selves ala Venus & Adonis, Cupid & Psyche, Apollo & Cassandra.
Its also a challenge for me too, I’m waaaay more comfortable doing this stuff on the computer. Painting doesn’t allow for easy hue changes or a perfect eraser and layers.
I ALWAYS end up making the left eye bigger even if i use my guides…i think subconsciously i do it because i personally have one eye (left) bigger and it bugs me.
